This Jailbreak Tweak Brings Guest Mode to iPhone and iPad in iOS 12
Despite years of requests from iPhone and iPad users, Apple still has not added multi-user or guest account support in iOS 12. Well, if you have a jailbroken iPhone or iPad, you can add a guest mode to your device by using the LendMyPhone 2 jailbreak tweak.
Updated to support iOS 12, LendMyPhone 2 will let you specify the apps that guest users will not be able to access when the guest mode is enabled. The tweak will also prevent guest users from accessing the Control Center, editing the Home Screen layout, kill apps from the App Switcher, open the Notification Center, and more.
If you value your privacy, this jailbreak tweak is a must-have in my opinion, especially if you use an iPad. Once you install LendMyPhone, you will have to create a new guest account which includes setting up a passcode and putting the various restrictions in place.
You are not just limited to one guest account with LendMyPhone 2. You can have multiple guest accounts with different restrictions and passcode in place. The best part here is that entering the guest passcode will take the guest directly to their profile. This way, they will never know that they are using guest mode or your iPhone or iPad’s original passcode.
LendMyPhone 2 is a paid jailbreak tweak. It can be purchased for $3.99 from the Packix repository. The second iteration of the tweak is only compatible with iOS 12 devices, with the original version being compatible with iOS 11.
